- *Working at Fanshawe College**Note**:This is a full-time Support position (35 hours per week).**Duties**:Under the supervision of the Senior Manager, Marketing, and in conjunction with the Marketing and Corporate Communications teams, the Digital Content Strategist is responsible for driving organic traffic to Fanshawe’s digital properties, through the planning and execution of SEO (search engine optimization), digital content and UX strategies for the web. The incumbent will conduct keyword research and write search-optimized content that aligns with the brand, as well as marketing and communications objectives. This position is also responsible for conducting best practice research and developing performance metrics to report on the success of digital content strategies, using a variety of online and digital tools.**Qualifications**
- Post-secondary 3-year diploma/degree in Digital Content Marketing, Website Development or related field
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in UX principles and research practices as well as search engine optimization, including detailed keyword research, manual site audits and using SEO tracking and tools, such as Google Analytics, Tag Manager, Moz, Ahrefs and SEM Rush
- An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered; preference will be given to applicants meeting the education requirements
- Experience with a CMS such as Drupal or WordPress and HMTL or CSS an asset
- Google Suite skills and certifications as well as experience with social media platforms would be an asset
- Strong skillset in copywriting, SEO, digital marketing and reporting analytics an asset
- Demonstrated strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team
- Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills
