Title: AWS Transformation Lead

Location: Irvine, CA

Salary Range: $47/hr

Introduction

The role is pivotal in driving cloud adoption and modernization initiatives across enterprise environments. This position focuses on designing, implementing, and optimizing AWS-based solutions while ensuring scalability, security, and operational excellence.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.
• Deep knowledge of core AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation).
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
• 7+ years of working experience in Splunk
• Proficiency in observability tools like Datadog and Splunk.
• Understanding of AWS security best practices and compliance frameworks.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience with automation and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or AWS CodePipeline).
• Familiarity with developing dashboards and automated alerts for system health and performance.
• Knowledge of implementing tagging strategies, resource policies, and guardrails for governance.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Define and lead AWS transformation roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
• Design scalable, secure, and cost-optimized AWS architectures for applications and infrastructure.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Ansible for provisioning, configuration, and deployment.
• Integrate and configure observability tools for real-time monitoring, logging, and alerting.
• Partner with application teams, DevOps engineers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth migration and modernization.
• Mentor teams on AWS services, IaC practices, and observability frameworks.
