We’re looking for a Private Equity Sales Hunter who can build deep, consultative relationships with PE investors and portfolio company executives — someone who thrives in a high-energy, entrepreneurial environment and understands how technology drives enterprise value.
Role Overview
As a Private Equity Sales Hunter, you will own the strategy and execution for identifying and expanding our relationships across the private equity ecosystem. You’ll identify opportunities where our digital transformation, IT strategy, and data modernization and AI services can create measurable value for portfolio companies.
You’ll work closely with our partners, solution architects, and delivery teams to craft tailored proposals that align technology initiatives with the investment goals of our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a relationship-driven sales strategy focused on private equity firms, operating partners, and portfolio company leadership teams.
- Source and manage a pipeline of high-potential opportunities, from initial engagement to contract closure.
- Conduct discovery discussions with clients to identify transformation needs (e.g., post-acquisition IT assessment, cloud strategy, or analytics enablement).
- Collaborate with consulting and delivery teams to create customized proposals and statements of work.
- Represent the firm at industry conferences, investor summits, and networking events to enhance brand visibility and build long-term relationships.
- Maintain accurate deal tracking, forecasting, and reporting in CRM tools.
- Stay current with private equity market dynamics, sector trends, and emerging digital technologies.
Qualifications
- 5–10 years of experience in IT consulting, digital transformation, or technology services sales, ideally selling into private equity or portfolio companies.
- Strong understanding of PE operating models, value-creation levers, and post-acquisition technology needs.
- Proven ability to build relationships with C-level executives and investment professionals.
- Exceptional consultative selling, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset — comfortable working in a fast-moving, flat, and collaborative organization.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or related field (MBA or advanced degree a plus).
- Experience with CRM tools such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or Pipedrive.
