As part of the Executive Leadership Team and reporting directly to the President/CEO, the Director of Marketing will be a key strategic driver in accelerating Adamson Systems Engineering’s global growth and market influence. This role will lead the marketing function, championing go-to-market strategies that amplify brand presence, fuel demand generation, and deliver consistent revenue performance.
The Director of Marketing will guide the development of high-impact campaigns, foster stakeholder relationships, and translate market intelligence into actionable sales strategies. As we continue to innovate and expand globally, we are seeking a hands-on leader who can inspire high-performing teams and position Adamson as the brand of choice in every key market.
Key Responsibilities
1. Marketing Strategy & Execution
- Design and execute integrated, data-driven marketing strategies tailored to key verticals and global markets.
- Develop go-to-market strategies for new product launches and service initiatives.
- Align marketing campaigns with overall company goals and sales objectives.
2. Brand Leadership & Content Development
- Ensure consistent brand identity and voice across digital, print, experiential, and social channels.
- Oversee multimedia content creation including web, video, graphic design, PR, and social media.
- Lead storytelling and creative direction to enhance global brand visibility.
3. Sales Enablement & Product Support
- Provide global sales teams with effective tools, presentations, and marketing collateral that drive conversion.
- Work closely with the Applications and Product teams to create training programs and education materials for customers.
4. Budgeting & Reporting
- Develop and manage annual marketing budgets with a focus on ROI and strategic impact.
- Analyze and report on marketing performance, providing insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
5. Campaigns & Demand Generation
- Build and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns focused on awareness, lead generation, and retention.
- Develop KPIs and use performance metrics to continually optimize marketing programs.
6. Market Intelligence & Competitive Positioning
- Conduct and analyze market research to identify opportunities, customer insights, and industry trends.
- Use market feedback to inform product positioning, pricing, and messaging strategies.
7. Event Management & Relationship Building
- Plan and oversee trade shows, product demos, customer events, and training seminars globally.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, vendors, creative agencies, and industry influencers.
8. Team Leadership & Cross-functional Collaboration
- Lead and mentor the marketing team, fostering a high-performance, collaborative culture.
- Collaborate with Sales and Product Development to ensure alignment and execution excellence.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business Administration (preferred).
- 15+ years of progressive experience in marketing leadership, ideally within manufacturing companies, pro audio, live events, or related tech sectors.
- Proven success in leading global campaigns, product launches, and brand strategy.
- Experience organizing trade shows, events, and customer engagement programs.
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing (SEO, SEM, CRM, email, social media) and analytics tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Commercial acumen and the ability to tie marketing activity to business growth.
- Creative and strategic thinker with attention to detail and strong project management skills.
- Must be able to travel internationally and hold a valid passport.
