Company Description

Work Water is a better for you energy drink produced and sold in Atlantic Canada. We are looking for someone located in New Brunswick or Nova Scotia to support our field marketing efforts and social media content creation.

Responsibilities

Field & Retail Activation

  • Coordinate and support Atlantic Superstore / Sobeys sampling
  • Recruit & manage brand ambassadors for new product launches/events
  • Ensure displays, signage, and stock checks are tight
  • Gather store-level intel (pricing, shelf placement, competitor activity)

Community & Youth Sports Outreach

  • Develop and manage community partnership programs
  • Reach out to minor hockey, gyms, CrossFit boxes, schools (where allowed)
  • Track which groups convert and which don’t

Content Capture

  • Broadcast live and capture short-form video at:
  • Sampling events
  • Hockey rinks
  • Community events
  • Turn this into:
  • TikToks
  • Instagram Reels
  • YouTube Shorts
  • Retail-friendly UGC

Light Sales Support

  • Follow up with:
  • Small retailers
  • Event organizers
  • Sports associations
  • Maintain a simple CRM or tracking sheet

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in Field Marketing and Event Marketing to promote brand visibility and engagement
  • Event Planning and Event Management experience to coordinate and execute events effectively
  • Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written, to collaborate with internal teams and external partners
  • Detail-oriented mindset with demonstrated ability to handle logistics and budgets
  • Prior experience with growth-focused marketing strategies is a plus
  • Degree or Certificate in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field is preferred
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines

This is a term position of up to 12 months funded through the NRC. Program requirements mandate that candidates must be:

  • 30 years of age or younger
  • a post-secondary graduate
  • a Canadian citizen, permanent resident of Canada or person granted refugee status in Canada
  • legally entitled to work according to the relevant provincial legislation and regulations
  • a first-time participant in a Youth Employment and Skills Strategy work experience program targeted at post-secondary graduates
