Remote E-commerce Performance Marketing Manager

Our client is seeking a data-driven and innovative Remote E-commerce Performance Marketing Manager to lead their digital acquisition strategies. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere in Canada. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing paid advertising campaigns across various channels to drive traffic, conversions, and revenue for our e-commerce platforms. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of performance marketing, a strong analytical mindset, and a proven ability to manage significant ad spends effectively. You will work closely with the e-commerce and marketing teams to align campaigns with overall business objectives and ensure maximum ROI.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute comprehensive performance marketing strategies across paid search (Google Ads, Bing Ads), paid social (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn), display advertising, and affiliate marketing. Manage and optimize multi-million dollar ad budgets to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) such as ROAS, CPA, CPL, and CAC. Conduct keyword research, audience segmentation, and creative testing to maximize campaign effectiveness. Monitor campaign performance daily, analyze data, and provide actionable insights and recommendations for improvement. Utilize analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics) to track, measure, and report on campaign performance and customer behavior. Collaborate with the creative team to develop compelling ad copy, visuals, and landing pages that align with brand guidelines and drive conversions. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, best practices, and platform updates in performance marketing and e-commerce. Manage relationships with advertising platforms and technology partners. Conduct A/B testing on ad creatives, targeting, bidding strategies, and landing pages to continuously improve results. Develop and implement strategies for customer retargeting and lifecycle marketing. Analyze website traffic and user behavior to identify opportunities for conversion rate optimization (CRO). Prepare detailed performance reports for senior management, highlighting key trends, insights, and future strategies. Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in performance marketing, with a strong focus on e-commerce and direct-to-consumer (DTC) brands. Proven track record of successfully managing and scaling paid acquisition campaigns across multiple channels. In-depth knowledge of Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, and other major advertising platforms. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights. Proficiency in web analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or similar. Experience with A/B testing methodologies and tools. Excellent understanding of e-commerce funnels and conversion rate optimization (CRO). Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Experience with affiliate marketing platforms and strategies is a plus. Ability to thrive in a remote, fast-paced, and results-oriented environment.
