Digital Marketing Instructor

Vancouver Premier College is seeking a qualified **Digital Marketing Instructor** to join our team, teaching within our General Studies and Business Management programs. Course openings will be for our Spring and Fall Semester.

Our history in Metro Vancouver dates back more than 20 years to May 1998 when Vancouver Premier College of Hotel Management was founded in Vancouver, British Columbia as one of Canada’s first colleges to exclusively specialize in the design, development and delivery of quality hotel management related education and training programs. Since its establishment, the enrollment of Vancouver Premier College of Hotel Management has increased significantly leading to the subsequent establishment of Vancouver Premier College of Business and Management and Vancouver Premier College of Arts and Science.

*Instructors are expected to teach in-person classes at our Richmond campus located at Lansdowne Centre in Richmond, BC.**
*Key Responsibilities**:

Primary duties and responsibilities of this post-secondary education teaching position include: lesson planning; presentation and explanation of course content; assignment and examination preparation; assignment and examination assessment; content and presentation material updating; development and coordination of delivery modes; quality assurance review; professional development training; research; and, student communication and evaluation. Additional duties are noted below:

Develop and update course materials and curriculum to reflect current digital marketing trends and best practices.
Provide practical, hands-on instruction to engage students and enhance learning.
Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback to improve their skills and understanding.
Participate in faculty meetings and professional development activities.
*Qualifications**:
Certification from the Digital Marketing Institute or a similar recognized body.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. A Master’s degree would be an asset.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in digital marketing.
Prior teaching experience in a post-secondary institution is preferred.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Strong understanding of current digital marketing tools and strategies.
Ability to work well with students of diverse backgrounds and learning styles.
Legally entitled to work in Canada.
