Purpose of the role
To lead the marketing and content creation strategy for Pendle Doors, transforming how the business communicates its value, educates its audience, and supports our growth. This is a new role for us, and we want the role holder to develop with us in marketing and content creation, reaching out to not only our customers, but suppliers and broader stakeholders and providing them with engaging insights in to our world. We want to educate, continue to build fantastic relationships and customer base to ultimately keep progressing towards our goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Content Leadership - Develop and lead a content strategy rooted in the customer information and excellence methodology. Build and manage a content calendar informed by customer insights, search intent, and business goals. Collaborate with internal colleagues from sales, production, logistics, technical and leadership team to extract internal knowledge and shape it into outward-facing engaging and audience appropriate marketing materials, working alongside our marketing agency.
- Content Creation & Management – We have a pre-existing set of marketing content however, we would like the role holder to critique, modernize and review whilst also being excited to create new material for example blogs, case studies, photography, videos, and behind-the-scenes storytelling for use across the website and social platforms.
- As a company we are values led and as a result, we want to make sure all our content reflects us a company, how we do things and our customer-centric approach.
- To work with the leadership team and colleagues to enhance internal marketing and communications. Support in the development of engaging and fun communication of the staff wellbeing programme, general company information and staff away day material.
Digital & Brand Presence
- Optimise website content for Search Engine Optimalisation, AI search expectation and user experience. Ensure consistent branding across all digital and print materials. Create and manage social media and digital engagement strategies.
- Work alongside our third-party marketing agency (who take care of our website, SEO and social media) to create and manage marketing campaigns. Work with and manage the relationship with our web & marketing agency and create content to drive engagement and attendance at for example Trade Events, Expo’s, charity and employee events.
Internal Alignment & Sales Enablement
- Work closely with the leadership team to align content with commercial goals. Create sales-enablement assets such as product explainers, onboarding explainers, objection-handling tools, and quote follow-ups. Be able to work with, influence and optimize our employee’s experience and knowledge of the door industry, their experience and insights whilst working for Pendle Doors to contribute to our brand and story.
Skills
- 5+ years in B2B marketing, content strategy, or digital communications (manufacturing sector preferred).
- Excellent writing and editing skills.
- Strong project management and stakeholder engagement experience.
- Working knowledge of SEO, content performance analytics, AI search fulfillment and web publishing platforms.
- Ability to turn technical input into clear, customer-friendly narratives.
- Comfortable spending time on the shop floor, gathering insight directly from operations and confident in getting out and about capturing our achievements at our customer sites to celebrate with our staff and current/future customers.

Pay: £28,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
