E-Commerce Grocery Shopper

Join our dynamic team as an E-Commerce Grocery Shopper! In this role, you will efficiently select and gather products for customers' online orders, focusing on quality and freshness. You will assemble these orders, process payments and coupons, and load them into customers' vehicles upon their arrival for pickup. Your commitment to excellent customer service will create a positive experience that encourages customers to continue shopping with us online.

Essential Job Functions

• Initiate and complete the product selection process for customers' online orders, ensuring speed and accuracy.
• Assemble orders and handle payment processing using the point of sale (POS) system.
• Load orders into customers' cars and effectively communicate any necessary substitutions at the time of pickup.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness in staging areas and comply with food safety procedures and company guidelines.
• Ensure quality and freshness of all selected items, adhering to local, state, and federal laws.
• Use a portable phone to communicate with customers professionally and in a timely manner.
• Report any discrepancies regarding pricing or inventory to the e-Commerce supervisor.
• Assist in training new team members and meet or exceed productivity standards.
• Work cooperatively in a fast-paced environment, managing conflicts in a calm and productive way.

Minimum Position Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and without supervision.
• Strong reading skills for shelf tags and product labels.
• Basic math skills, including counting, addition, and subtraction.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Desired Previous Experience

• Experience as a personal shopper or in a production-oriented or warehouse environment, as well as stocking shelves or working as a cashier.
