We are seeking talented individuals for the Digital Art and Design Internship based in our facilities located in Irving, Texas.
- This internship will run from January to June, 2026.
- Full-time commitment of 40 hours per week is required.
Purpose
The Digital Art and Design Internship program at Johnson & Johnson Texas A&R is an exceptional opportunity to gain professional experience in a globally recognized healthcare organization. This program nurtures future candidates for roles such as Production and Engineering Analysts upon successful completion of their internships and degree programs.
Program Overview
By applying for this program, you’ll qualify for various departmental opportunities within Manufacturing functions. This 6-month, full-time internship entails hands-on experience across a range of manufacturing assignments, with exposure to departments including Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Working on Supply Chain projects that create visually appealing content for Continuous Improvement initiatives.
- Contributing to the development of graphic designs, illustrations, and branding materials.
- Utilizing Adobe Creative Suite and other design software to craft eye-catching visuals for J&J websites and promotional content.
- Engaging in brainstorming sessions to generate innovative ideas.
- Collaborating with team members to ensure timely project completion and adherence to quality standards.
- Preparing reports and documentation to communicate your findings effectively.
- Adhering to all safety and health regulations.
- Performing additional duties as assigned based on project requirements.
At the conclusion of the program, you will have the chance to present your work to the A&R Leadership Team, with support and guidance from your manager throughout the experience.
Qualifications / Requirements
- Completion of Undergraduate Freshman year at an accredited university.
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Digital Art and Design or a related field.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8.
- Proficiency in communication design and Adobe Photoshop.
- Experience with MS Office tools, particularly advanced Excel.
- Knowledge of Power BI or Power Apps is preferred.
- Fluency in English is required.
- Professional experience is a plus.
- A passion for a career in the Manufacturing Supply Chain industry.
- Prior internship or academic research experience is advantageous.
- Involvement in student organizations or associations is a bonus.
- Strong communication skills and an ability to address issues and prioritize effectively.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools and analytics is desirable.
- Permanently authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring employment visa sponsorship.
