Digital Experience Coordinator (Retail)

Summary
Are you a digitally fluent, detail-obsessed problem solver with a passion for customer experience, wellness, and retail innovation? Healthy Planet is seeking a Digital Experience Coordinator to support and enhance our digital customer journey across CRM, email marketing, e-commerce, and in-store digital tools. This role is ideal for someone with a strong digital operations or marketing background who thrives on cross-functional collaboration, continuous improvement, and creating seamless, engaging experiences for our customers.
As a core member of our Digital Experience team, you will play a key role in managing our CRM platform, executing targeted email campaigns, supporting website updates, and assisting with digital system implementations. You’ll also step into a critical support role previously held by our former coordinator, ensuring continuity in digital training, documentation, system maintenance, and cross-departmental communication as we continue to elevate the customer journey across all channels.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Relationship Management (CRM) & Digital Customer Journey
- Manage and maintain the organization’s CRM system to ensure accurate customer data, segmentation, and reporting.
- Develop targeted customer segments to support personalized marketing and loyalty initiatives.
- Monitor customer lifecycle stages and support strategies to improve retention and re-engagement.
- Collaborate with store teams and leadership to optimize customer experience touchpoints.
Email & Digital Marketing
- Create, schedule, and deploy marketing emails, newsletters, and automated campaigns.
- Build email templates and journeys that support brand objectives, events, and promotional activity.
- Track performance metrics (CTR, open rates, conversions) and provide insights with recommendations for improvement.
- Ensure all digital communications align with brand tone, compliance standards, and customer experience goals.
E-Commerce Website Management
- Support updates to product listings, categories, website banners, and featured content.
- Assist with product uploads, descriptions, images, pricing, and promotional updates in coordination with merchandising and marketing.
- Monitor website performance, customer feedback, and user experience issues, escalating when needed.
- Collaborate with IT and external partners to ensure smooth site functionality and ongoing improvements.
System Implementation Support
- Support the implementation, maintenance, and ongoing updates of the organization’s learning, training, or other digital systems.
- Assist in uploading, organizing, and managing digital content, modules, or system assets.
- Collaborate with department managers to ensure content accuracy and monitor completion or usage tracking.
- Provide basic troubleshooting support to team members and escalate technical issues to the appropriate IT or vendor partners as needed.
Creative & Branding Support (Photoshop + Digital Assets)
- Use Photoshop (or equivalent tools) to create, resize, and edit imagery for email, website, social, and in-store digital assets.
- Maintain a consistent brand look across digital platforms.
- Support the marketing team with promotional graphics and campaign visuals.
Team & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Operations, IT, Merchandising, Marketing, and Store Leadership teams to support digital initiatives.
- Participate in key projects that enhance the customer journey across retail and digital channels.
- Assist with testing, documenting, and rolling out new digital tools that support team efficiency and customer experience.
Other Duties
- Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
- Previous experience in CRM management, email marketing, or digital operations preferred.
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms (Shopify, Magento, or similar).
- Proficiency in Photoshop; basic design skills required.
- Experience with email marketing platforms (Klaviyo, MailChimp, HubSpot, etc.).
- Understanding of consumer data, segmentation, and performance analytics.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot basic technical issues and work with IT/partners on escalations.
- Completion of required Lessonly training modules.
