The Role

We are seeking our first dedicated Digital Marketing Specialist.. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive digital marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility, drive engagement, and increase conversions across multiple online channels. This role offers an exciting opportunity to leverage a broad skill set in SEO, content creation, social media management, and analytics to support our company's growth objectives. The position is paid and suitable for candidates passionate about innovative digital marketing practices and data-driven results.

This role will be the engine of our growth, combining technical marketing (HubSpot, SEO) with creative execution (Video, Design, Written Content). This role requires adaptability, you will conduct keyword research, generate SEO content, edit a video, publish LinkedIn posts, and optimize marketing automation, all in the same week.

Key Responsibilities

1. Digital Marketing & Automation (HubSpot)

  • Own the CRM: Create and manage marketing automation workflows, list segmentation, and the chat functionality on our website using Hubspot.
  • Content Strategy: Write and publish weekly LinkedIn posts, monthly blog posts, and monthly email newsletters with content specific for our products and target industries. Track effectiveness and report on growth.
  • Web Management: Develop and implement SEO strategies utilizing SEO tools, keyword research, and content optimization to improve organic search rankings. Manage product attributes, the Google Merchant data feed, and organic traffic using current SEO tactics to optimize keywords, create landing pages, and improve linking.
  • Agency Management: Oversee our external agencies for Google Ads and Bing Ads. Goal: Audit their work and eventually transition these tasks in-house.

2. Creative Content Studio

  • Video Production: Since you are on-site, you will script, film, and edit videos of our printers and hardware. You will publish these to YouTube and product pages to improve customer understanding, build SEO equity, and sales conversations.
  • Graphic Design: Design marketing assets (brochures, spec sheets, digital ads).
  • Photography: Take high-quality photos of stock labels and new products to keep our digital storefronts fresh.

3. Marketing Analytics

  • Reporting: Own the tracking of key performance indicators for digital marketing endeavors and report to leadership
  • Data-Based Decision Making: Using marketing data, improve marketing efforts and optimize automation flows.

4. Product Strategy & Sales Enablement

  • Product Expert: Learn our hardware well enough to conduct software demos (Loftware/Teklynx) and create video explainers.
  • Market Intelligence: Research competitors to identify label trends. Analyze sales data to plan new product lists and determine which products to discontinue.
  • Customer Marketing: Manage distributor relationships and create marketing and sales assets (case studies, brochures, catalogs)
  • Flexibility: As a small team, we all wear many hats. This role may occasionally assist with inbound leads or trade show planning depending on business needs.

What We’re Looking For

  • Location: Must be located near Granite Bay, CA, and able to work in-office 100% of the time.
  • Experience: 3+ years of broad marketing experience.
  • The "Stack": Proficiency with HubSpot is highly preferred. Experience with Canva (or Adobe Creative Suite), as well as Google products (including Analytics, Ads MGMT, and Office Suite). Experience with SEMRush and strong understanding of SEO best practices.
  • Adaptability: You are tech-savvy and design-savvy. You are willing to roll up your sleeves to pack a trade show booth, fix a website typo, edit a video, or optimize a marketing automation, all in the same week.
  • Business Acumen: You understand that marketing exists to drive revenue. You are comfortable analyzing data to see what is working and what isn't.
  • Experience in B2B marketing strategies within a digital environment.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data for performance insights.
  • Excellent communication skills with a focus on content creation that aligns with brand voice. This role is ideal for a motivated individual eager to apply their comprehensive digital marketing skills in a fast-paced environment while contributing directly to company growth through innovative online strategies.

Work Environment

Quiet office space with individual offices. This role requires the employee to work on site full time, Monday through Friday.

Physical Demands

Sitting at a desk for extended periods of time working on a computer or phone.

  • Business Hours: 7:30AM - 4:30PM (with one hour lunch)
  • Monday - Friday

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $72,000.00 per year
