We are now seeking a Sales and Marketing Manager to take ownership of our growth engine. This is a pivotal role with direct influence over how the business is positioned, perceived and engaged across the eCommerce sector.
The Role
The Sales and Marketing Manager will lead the full marketing and sales pipeline, coordinating a consistent flow of high-quality inbound enquiries and managing prospects from first contact through to signed contract. You will build on our existing presence, refine our positioning, and deliver campaigns that highlight Foundation Commerce’s expertise to the market.
This role is ideal for someone with 2–3 years of experience in B2B marketing, confident in both strategic planning and hands-on execution. Experience in e-commerce, Magento, Shopify or digital agencies will be highly advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing
- Own the marketing strategy and day-to-day execution to drive qualified inbound leads.
- Plan and deliver campaigns across SEO, content, email, events, paid media and partnerships.
- Work with directors to shape messaging and positioning that resonates with e-commerce merchants.
- Manage the content calendar and oversee production of case studies, guides, landing pages and thought leadership.
- Monitor channel performance and use data insights to refine and improve marketing output.
- Ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints and strengthen Foundation Commerce’s market reputation.
- Work alongside our tech partners to market Foundation to merchants and maximise joint visibility.
- Increase merchant awareness of Foundation as a trusted business and specialist Magento and Hyvä agency.
- Market Foundation’s range of products, including managed services and subscription offerings, to drive adoption across both new and existing clients.
Sales
- Take ownership of the sales process from first enquiry to signed contract.
- Qualify leads, run discovery calls and coordinate technical input from the wider team.
- Produce proposals and commercial documents aligned with client needs and Foundation’s service model.
- Maintain accurate pipeline data and deliver reliable forecasting.
- Build long-term relationships with prospects, partners and complementary service providers.
- Identify opportunities for upsell and cross-sell across our service offerings.
What You’ll Bring
- 2–3 years of experience in B2B marketing, ideally within a tech, SaaS or digital agency environment.
- Understanding of eCommerce, online retail trends and what makes e-commerce merchants tick.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical value clearly.
- Confidence in managing a sales pipeline and nurturing prospects through to close.
- Data-driven mindset with an ability to analyse performance and refine tactics.
- Proactive approach, comfortable taking ownership and driving initiatives without constant oversight.
- Organised, methodical and effective in a fast-moving environment.
