E-Commerce Shipping Lead

We are seeking an E-Commerce Shipping Lead to oversee the efficient processing, packaging, and dispatch of online orders. Responsibilities

• Supervise daily shipping and receiving operations within the warehouse, ensuring all orders are processed accurately and promptly.
• Work with Amazon, Walmart and Home Depot
• Manage inventory control processes, including stock counts, cycle counts, and reconciliation to maintain high levels of accuracy.
• Oversee warehouse distribution activities, coordinating with 3PL providers and internal teams to optimize logistics flow.
• Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce errors, and streamline materials handling procedures.
• Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track shipments, update inventory records, and generate reports.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards by enforcing proper materials handling techniques and heavy lifting protocols.
• Manage team members effectively through training, scheduling, performance evaluations, and fostering a safety-conscious work environment.
• Maintain adherence to shipping & receiving protocols, including proper documentation for outbound shipments and inbound deliveries.
• Operate forklifts and other mechanical equipment safely to facilitate warehouse distribution tasks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve logistical issues swiftly and improve overall warehouse operations.

Skills

• Proven experience in warehouse management or supervisory roles within e-commerce or logistics environments.
• Previous experience with Amazon, Walmart and Home Depot highly preferred
• Previous experience with Ship Station highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Expertise in materials handling equipment operation, including forklift certification and mechanical knowledge.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively in a fast-paced setting.
• Deep understanding of shipping & receiving processes, logistics coordination, and heavy lifting safety procedures aligned with OSHA standards.
• Ability to implement process improvements that enhance operational efficiency and accuracy.
• Familiarity with 3PL (third-party logistics) providers and warehouse distribution strategies.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to warehouse safety practices.
• Experience working with warehouse supervisor responsibilities including inventory control, materials handling, and process optimization.
