Job Overview

We are seeking a dependable and experienced CDL-A Driver for Amazon UIIA operations. This role involves transporting freight efficiently and safely across designated routes, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all safety and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, familiarity with various trailer types, and the ability to handle different freight loads. Responsibilities

• Operate tractor-trailers including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and other freight vehicles
• Load and unload freight safely and efficiently using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary
• Drive route-specific deliveries adhering to schedules and traffic regulations
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, cargo details, and delivery documentation
• Follow all safety protocols and company policies during transportation activities
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route updates or issues encountered during deliveries

Skills

• Valid CDL-A license with necessary endorsements for different trailer types (manual transmission experience preferred)
• Proven experience in commercial driving, including route driving and delivery operations
• Familiarity with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and freight handling
• Ability to load & unload freight efficiently and safely using forklifts or other equipment when required
• Strong knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and DOT compliance standards
• Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety and punctuality
• Experience with tractor-trailers, truck driving, and freight logistics is highly desirable
• Capable of handling various truck types such as flatbed, tanker, or refrigerated units depending on route needs

Pay: $1,500.00 - $3,000.00 per week
