Digital Marketing Specialist, Full-Time, Remote (Canada)

We are currently seeking a Digital Marketing Specialist to develop, execute, and maintain the organization’s digital marketing. You will be working remotely unless you prefer to work in-person at one of SCM’s central offices.

Reporting to the Director, Marketing Services, the Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for leading in the development, execution, and management of innovative digital strategies. This role involves overseeing various digital channels and optimizing online marketing campaigns in collaboration with internal teams and marketing leads across the SCM Group of Companies. You will create bold, innovative, and engaging solutions that can be measured and tracked for success.

Job Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain our social media presence.
  • Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs).
  • Identify trends and insights to optimize spend and performance.
  • Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies through digital marketing.
  • Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize user experience.
  • Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points.
  • Identify critical conversion points and drop-off points to optimize user funnels.

Qualifications and Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, or related experience.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing best practices with a minimum of three (3) years of related experience.
  • Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels.
  • Experience in setting up and optimizing PPC campaigns on all major search engines.
  • Solid knowledge of website and marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMRush, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of ad serving tools.
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
