We are a long established and very successful auctioneer business, selling goods worldwide via our regular on-line auctions.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic marketing professional to join our auction team based in Salford, on a full-time basis.

We are looking for an experienced, confident and ambitious individual, with drive and enthusiasm and excellent marketing knowledge and ideas.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering and implementing a successful marketing strategy to spearhead our business into the next stage of growth.

Role & Responsibilities

  • To manage and evolve our current social media sites including LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube and Facebook to promote our brand
  • Provide input in the final design phase of our website and manage content updates following release
  • Manage the organic growth of our website and associated platforms
  • Create and distribute our auction flyers as required
  • Build and manage our industry specific client database
  • Target potential suppliers of product with guidance from our Directors
  • Engage with existing and potential suppliers to generate auction product
  • Produce tailored marketing for bespoke businesses and assets
  • Build brand awareness
  • Develop existing and new client relationships alongside our Directors

Essential Skills/Experience

  • Background in marketing with a previous position being held
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Knowledge of SEO and SEM
  • Content creation and marketing
  • Social media management
  • Good photography skills
  • The ability to work under pressure
  • Attention to detail
  • Confident face-to-face communicator
