Job Summary

The at-Home Solutions Communications team is essential in molding brand reputation, storytelling, visibility, and enhancing customer experience for our business and the broader Enterprise. This team spearheads the development and execution of strategic external storytelling for at-Home Solutions, managing brand reputation, crisis communications, and internal as well as executive communications that promote key business initiatives and objectives.

As part of the Corporate Enterprise Communications & Marketing organization, this team acts as a dependable partner to the at-Home Solutions business and its sub-brands, driving business priorities through strategic communications across owned and earned media.

The Social Monitoring Communications Consultant will lead the social monitoring, response, and reporting functions for at-Home Solutions' direct-to-patient provider businesses, including Advanced Diabetes Supply, US MED, and Edgepark. This role aims to protect brand reputation and improve customer experience through compassionate social engagement and responsive programs across various online channels, coordinating with patient advocates, customer service, and legal teams. Additionally, this position is responsible for managing reporting analytics, sentiment analysis, and identifying trends for key leaders in at-Home Solutions, fostering improvements in social strategy and overall customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily monitoring and community engagement for our home healthcare direct-to-patient brands.
  • Craft timely responses to public comments on social media and online review platforms, escalating critical issues as necessary to relevant partners.
  • Collaborate with customer service and patient advocacy teams to promptly address patient concerns raised on social media and review platforms.
  • Work closely with Privacy and Legal partners to ensure all responses are compliant with regulations.
  • Develop and execute regular reporting on social media performance metrics and sentiment analysis for leadership stakeholders.
  • Analyze and identify trends in public engagement to refine social content strategies, driving enhancements to customer experience.
  • Coordinate with Marketing leaders to ensure cohesive messaging across paid and owned channels.
  • Support crisis and issues management efforts related to social media as required.
  • Contribute to annual planning of our Communications strategy and performance assessments.
  • Build and nurture lasting relationships with internal clients, showcasing the ongoing value of digital marketing initiatives.
  • Serve as a mentor to junior colleagues, sharing insights from previous projects and expertise in campaign tactics and metrics.
  • Advise business clients on best practices to inform strategic investments in digital media tools and enhance overall strategies over time.

Qualifications

  • 4-8 years of relevant experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Social Media, or Public Relations is strongly preferred.
  • Experience managing social media channels in the healthcare sector is strongly preferred.
  • Willingness to travel domestically 1-2 times per year in accordance with Cardinal Health's travel policy.
  • Ability to work remotely requires a dedicated, quiet, and private workspace with high-speed internet access. We provide the necessary technology and equipment for your success, while you ensure internet connectivity.

Anticipated Salary Range: $80,900 - $103,950
