Be the next member of our growing team at Browns Restaurant Group (BRG). We are looking for a creative self-starter with strong proficiency in social media management and content creation to join our team. You thrive in a collaborative team environment, understand the food and service industry, and have basic knowledge of franchising.
As Social Media & Marketing Coordinator, you play a key role in building and maintaining a strong digital presence for all of our brands. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies that drive engagement and support broader marketing initiatives aligned with the company’s vision and mission.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Capture, edit, organize and post content across various social media platforms for 4+ brands, ensuring consistency and alignment with brand guidelines.
- Monitor social media engagement and respond to comments and messages promptly.
- Track performance metrics and provide reports on social media performance.
- Proactively stay current with social media trends and platform updates to ensure our presence remains innovative.
- Create storytelling opportunities, helping execute the brand vision and mission accordingly.
- Create shot lists and support through photoshoots.
- Collaborate and support in the development and execution of all marketing campaigns, tracking analytics.
- Prepare and communicate marketing briefs for new initiatives.
- Act as liaison between marketing and other departments, ensuring alignment across all channels.
- Ongoing support of Gift Card programming, and digital platforms (i.e. website, Google, reservation platforms, online menu services).
- Work with beverage point person to edit Bar Training Materials.
- Participate in local travel, as required by the job.
WHAT YOU BRING
- 1-2 years of relevant social media or content marketing experience.
- Experience with SEO and SEM.
- A strong sense of brand storytelling with an understanding of the food service and hospitality industry.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to identify high-priority tasks and deadlines, while balancing multiple responsibilities effectively.
- Effective working independently and as part of a team.
- Highly collaborative and flexible approach to teamwork.
- Reliable transportation across the Lower Mainland.
- Meticulous attention to detail and quality.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective and collaborative working relationships with all levels of the organization, and relevant external contacts.
- Hospitality background an asset.
