Network Development Engineer Intern

About the position

Responsibilities

• Create simple, repetitive deployment processes that increase both velocity and quality.
• Create and update our network standards and ensure that the network is deployed to these standards.
• Work closely with our internal customers on designs/solutions; bringing those designs/solutions from concept to production.

Requirements

• Work 40 hours/week minimum and commit to 12 week internship maximum
• Experience working in a Linux/Unix environment
• Experience in scripting languages such as Perl, Python, or Javascript
• Are 18 years of age or older
• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Telecommunications or similar program with a graduation conferral date between October 2026 - December 2029

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of IP networking fundamentals such as BGP, OSPF and other R&S technologies
• Knowledge of network hardware and packet forwarding architectures
• Experience handling ambiguous or undefined challenges through strong problem solving abilities

• Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets.
• The base pay for this position ranges from \$49.38/hr in our lowest geographic market up to \$88.94/hr in our highest geographic market.
• Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
