Job description: What you will be doing
The Sales & Marketing Manager is responsible for researching and developing marketing opportunities and planning and implementing new sales strategies. The Sales & Marketing Manager will also managethe marketing and sales efforts and perform managerial duties to meet the company's operations goals.
The Sales & Marketing manager reports directly to the VP of Operations.We are industry leaders in a wide range of construction-related businesses that deliver exceptional products and services that have fueled phenomenal growth and a history of success throughout the
Southeast REGION and beyond. In addition, the Sales and Marketing Specialist will create, sustain, and continuously improve True North’s social media messaging on general and culturally specific initiatives.
We are actively searching for a sales and marketing professional (with industry knowledge) who will promote our organization and drive sales by strategically developing and managing an existing and future client database while providing high reporting to senior-level management. The ideal candidate will quickly take ownership of sales, revenue, and expense control while gracefully interacting with
various levels of decision-makers to create long-lasting alliances.
- Promoting the company's existing brand to the market
- Researching and developing marketing opportunities and plans, understanding consumer requirements, identifying market trends
- Creates the overall, sustainable digital media strategies for True North digital platforms and methods specific for the engagement of underserved real estate market segments. Develops digital campaigns to increase web traffic to True North’s website and services.
- Manages, creates and publishes original, high-quality content on all True North digital platforms in alignment with organizational voice. Including but not limited to external newsletters, social media platforms, blogs, and website content.
- Provide content, press releases, and other information to Media Outlets. Oversee strategy for all social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube) with an eye to growth and brand recognition.
- Suggesting system improvements to achieve the company's marketing goals
- Analyzing budgets, preparing annual budget plans, scheduling expenditures, and ensuring that the sales and marketing quotas and goals are met
- Develop & Oversee sales and marketing training programs
- Implementing sales plans and advertising
- Maintaining and making relationships with important clients and referral partners by making regular visits, understanding their needs, and anticipating new marketing opportunities
- Staying current in the industry by attending educational opportunities, conferences, and workshops, reading publications, and maintaining personal and professional networks
- Achieves marketing and sales operational objectives by contributing marketing and sales information
- Meets marketing and sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements and preparing annual budgets
- Determines annual and gross-profit plans by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions

- Deliver strong sales results
- Prepares and completes approved marketing action plans
- Develops a deep understanding of products and services and how they help targeted clients
- Develops approved quarterly sales and marketing plan and executes the plan

- Completes approved sales and marketing objectives and accurately reports to management
- Accomplishes marketing and sales objectives by planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating the performance of the objectives
- Identifies marketing opportunities by understanding the industry life cycle.
- Improves product marketability and profitability by researching, identifying, and capitalizing on market opportunities.
- Nurtures rapport with key accounts by making periodic visits.
- Provides information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
- Experience using CRMs
Experience you will need
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 5+ years of industry experience in a sales & marketing role (Construction or Commercial Real Estate)
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience managing teams / direct reports
- Prior sales/marketing achievements or certificates
- Experience working with CMS, Google Analytics, and Adobe Creative Suite (REQUIRED).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and e-marketing software (Constant Contact, CVent, etc.)
- Motivated, creative, and organized thinker who can develop clever ways to conceptualize, present, and package content.
- Work with colleagues in product marketing, public relations, and other departments to develop appropriate communication plans for sales, marketing, and corporate initiatives with a consumer-friendly, editorial approach.
- Demonstrated ability to understand marketing plans, sales processes
- Strong computer skills with an emphasis on industry CRMs or comparable programs
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
