Numus Financial Inc. is a venture capital firm focused on early-stage companies with high-growth potential. We have an immediate opening for a detail-oriented, all-round skilled, exceptionally organized, and technically savvy individual to fill a Project Coordinator position in our Halifax office.

  • *What you will do**:
  • Reporting to the marketing lead and working closely with business management to support the execution of communication and marketing plans that are aligned with and in support of Numus Issuer's strategic and annual marketing plans
  • Responsible for the coordination, tactical execution, tracking, support and day-to-day administration of Numus Financial Issuer’s approved marketing strategies and initiatives
  • Accurately perform administrative duties specific to the marketing department such as updating and maintaining databases, client lists, preparing materials for distribution to issuer’s digital channels, updating website information and crafting newsletters
  • Help identify media opportunities and develop content to be disseminated via social media, websites, blogs, newsletters, press releases and any other distribution channels
  • Collaborate, brief and manage cross-functional service provider teams - from creative, web development, video production, accounting and legal - to effectively deliver on marketing plans
  • Ensure all initiatives are consistent with agreed upon objectives and priorities
  • Monitor and track allotted marketing budgets
  • Support other marketing technologies and special projects as required
  • Maintain list of current and potential vendors including related ongoing project status reporting
  • *What you have and who you are**:
  • Strong project management skills - must be organized and able to work across functions, and deliver on timelines with great attention to detail
  • A minimum of 3-5 years recent and related experience at an administrative, project management, marketing, customer or support roles level working in a complex, fast-paced organization with experience supporting communications for large projects or change initiatives is an asset.
  • Strong ability to prioritize, multi-task, and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A highly motivated, exceptionally organized, and technically savvy individual, ability to work independently and proactively
  • Be able to effectively vet, brief and manage various third-party marketing service providers ensuring timeliness, quality of work and budgetary compliance
  • Driven to work in a team environment and is focused on team success
  • Successful completion of a degree/diploma from an accredited educational institution in a relevant discipline will be beneficial e.g., Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism.
  • An asset if you have a generalist technical ability in digital advertising, SEM, social media marketing, graphic design and all other relevant disciplines needed to effectively administer digital marketing activities
