The Manager, Data Strategy, will leverage advanced technical expertise and robust project management skills to drive enterprise-wide Finance Transformation initiatives. Responsibilities may include supporting complex programs such as Finance Data Governance, SAP Enablement, and financial systems strategy, with a focus on translating finance data into actionable insights using best in class technologies.

Responsibilities

The Manager, Data Strategy supports large scale transformational programs by focusing on:

  • Partnering across the organization to build an enterprise data strategy that leverages data and insights for informing our finance business strategy.
  • Collaborating with technical leadership and a strategic mindset to align data capabilities with business objectives, driving actionable insights.
  • Design frameworks that enable real-time data exploration and distill complex financial information for stakeholders across global teams.
  • Apply advanced data storytelling, user experience (UX), and information design principles to ensure financial insights are communicated with maximum clarity, impact, and accessibility.
  • Build scalable visualization pipelines utilizing best practices in ETL, data modeling, and cloud analytics integration for cross-functional finance teams.
  • Lead technical workshops and training sessions to upskill team members in best practices and advanced analytics techniques.
  • Direct and oversee all phases of project management for data initiatives, including planning, resource allocation, risk management, timeline adherence, and quality assurance.
  • Facilitate effective cross-functional collaboration by aligning technical capabilities with business objectives, ensuring all deliverables align with stakeholders and enterprise requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement in data processes to optimize performance, scalability, and accessibility for diverse audiences.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting, computer science, information management, or related field.

Minimum of 7+ years combined experience in accounting, financial reporting, business intelligence, data analysis, or related role.

Deep understanding of financial data analysis, dashboard engineering, and visual analytics methodologies

Experience building interactive and web-based data visualizations using enterprise-grade platforms and programming libraries (SAP suite, Workiva, Tableau, Power BI).

Demonstrated ability to coach and guide both technical and non-technical teams on visualization tools, data storytelling, and adoption strategies.

Proven project management skills, successfully leading global multi-phase, cross-functional analytics projects from concept to completion

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present complex data both visually and verbally to executive audiences.

Experience managing large datasets, APIs, and cloud-based analytics platforms is highly desirable.

Ensure all activities are executed within the allocated budget and according to agreed-upon timelines.

Roll-out and train relevant (functional, cross-functional, global) teams on processes, frameworks, and tools.
