Build a Data Transformation Tool to Standardize Contractor Pricing Files (Excel/CSV/ServiceTitan)

We need a reliable, repeatable solution to convert contractor-supplied pricing files into our internal standard upload format.

Contractors provide pricing data in many formats, including ServiceTitan pricebook exports, Excel files, CSVs, and other CRM exports. Today this requires significant manual mapping and cleanup by our Customer Success team.

The goal of this project is to build a data transformation process (script, tool, or workflow) that:

• Maps inconsistent source fields to our required schema
• Normalizes messy real-world pricing data
• Validates required fields and flags errors
• Outputs a clean, ready-to-upload CSV file in the approved format

We already have a defined standard upload format and an early-stage prompt/workflow for ServiceTitan exports that can be improved or replaced with a better approach.

AI- or LLM-assisted approaches are encouraged for schema inference and intelligent mapping, as long as outputs are deterministic, transparent, and accurate. Pricing accuracy is critical — this cannot be a black-box solution.
