Role Title: Digital Marketing Contractor

Duration: 6 months+ extensions

Preferred Location: Prefer local to Milwaukee but open to remote. If remote open to traveling 1-2 times a year expenses paid

Role Description

Responsibilities

  • Increase Awareness of Connected Services

Help build brand recognition so that, over time, our sales team won't need to explain who we area especially in the context of our connected solutions.

Create flexible marketing strategies that can evolve with shifts in our ICP and market direction.

  • Develop Marketing & Engagement Activities Aligned to our ICP (Ideal Customer Profile)
  • This includes strategic participation in shows, events, and social media.
  • Engagement should be designed to spark conversations that naturally point to our Connected Services as the solution.
  • Adaptable Strategy Development
  • Lead Generation Support

Formulate approaches that drive qualified leads to the sales team through the above engagement efforts.

  • Sales Cycle Nurturing Mechanisms

Build out tools like newsletters and digital touchpoints (e.g. emails, social media posts) to maintain engagement and momentum throughout the sales cycle.

  • Product Marketing Support

Support product management in bringing new solutions to market (e.g. product naming, sales collateral, product launch materials, event support, press release content)

  • Alignment with Corporate Marketing

Primary conduit between our Connected Services and Corporate Marketing teams (including agencies) to ensure strategic alignment and compliance with corporate guidelines and initiatives.

Deliverables

  • Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns to build brand awareness and generate leads
  • Create and maintain the Connected Services marketing roadmap defining messaging strategy and marketing tactics
  • Create and maintain marketing collateral to promote Connected Services solutions
  • Partner with sales team to plan and execute customer facing events (such as tradeshows and customer showcases)
  • Partner with product management team to create product collateral and content for both internal and external audiences

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Digital Marketing or a related field
  • Minimum 5+ years in a marketing role supporting technology products, experience marketing to fleet customers a huge plus
  • Preferred location is Milwaukee, but willing to hire remote for right candidate
  • Need someone who has created the content not just manage an agency
  • Resourceful, self-starter
  • Attention to detail
  • Curiosity
  • Strong writing skills
  • Strong organization and planning skills
  • Experience with graphic design and using tools to create digital content
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguous, dynamic environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
