A global consultancy specialising in Enterprise Performance Management and finance transformation is looking to appoint a Finance Transformation Director to lead growth and delivery across Ontario. This is a senior opportunity for someone with a consulting background, proven success in leading transformation programmes, and experience driving new business and presales initiatives.

About the Role

As Finance Transformation Director, you will guide clients through complex change programmes that modernise planning, forecasting, and reporting. The role combines sales leadership and delivery oversight, ensuring that client engagements are both commercially successful and executed to the highest standard.

You will act as a senior advisor, shaping strategy, supporting presales, and overseeing delivery teams to maintain alignment between expectations and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage client relationships to drive revenue and long-term partnerships
  • Lead the sales cycle, including prospecting, proposals, presentations, and contract negotiation
  • Engage in presales activities, working with solution architects to scope and design tailored EPM and finance transformation solutions
  • Act as a project sponsor across key engagements, ensuring quality and strategic alignment
  • Provide guidance to clients on finance transformation best practices and technology adoption
  • Collaborate with senior leadership on regional strategy and growth plans

Candidate Profile

  • Strong consulting background with experience delivering finance transformation or EPM projects end to end
  • Proven track record in business development and presales for enterprise solutions
  • Familiarity with planning and performance management platforms such as OneStream, Oracle, Anaplan, Board, or similar
  • Comfortable shaping solution architecture and advising C-level stakeholders
  • Skilled relationship builder with a consultative, results-focused mindset
  • Confident leading sales pursuits and supporting delivery teams through complex programmes
