Overview

The Account Specialist - Mexico eCommerce is responsible for helping BISSELL expand its online presence across key Mexico marketplaces, including, but not limited to, Amazon Mexico and Mercado Libre. In this role, you will oversee product listings, execute marketing and promotional initiatives aligned, and help drive sales growth through data-driven strategies.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to enhance BISSELL’s brand presence, support the optimization of advertising and promotional efforts, supply chain efficiencies, and analyze performance metrics to improve best-seller rankings and overall sales conversion. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical and organizational skills, Amazon marketplace knowledge, and a passion for accelerating digital commerce growth across Latin America.

Responsibilities

  • Vendor Central Management/ Web-based Retailer platforms: Set up and manage product assortment, pricing, promotions, and inventory to ensure availability and profitability. Partner closely with internal teams — marketing, operations, supply chain, and finance—to ensure seamless execution.
  • Content Optimization: Work with product marketing teams to enhance product listings with high-quality images, SEO-optimized descriptions, A+ Content, and brand store updates, including A/B testing for enhanced visibility.
  • Retail/Vendor Relationship Management: Support the relationships with Amazon - facilitate all meetings, review and recommend merchandising programs, assist in resolving chargeback disputes, and ensuring smooth operations.
  • Advertising & Marketing: Work closely with media and commercial teams to help plan, execute and analyze advertising campaigns, promotions, and brand awareness initiatives to drive sales growth.
  • Inventory & Supply Chain Coordination: Work with internal teams to help forecast demand, manage inventory levels, and optimize fulfillment strategies to reduce shortages and overstock.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Monitor key performance metrics, analyze sales trends, and generate reports to provide actionable insights that improve profitability and efficiency.
  • Policy Compliance & Account Health: Ensure adherence to Amazon (and other Mexico Ecomm Retailer) policies and proactively address compliance issues, performance notifications, and chargebacks.

Qualifications

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or a relevant field.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of relative account and/or product management experience within digital and eCommerce channels. Knowledge of Amazon seller central and vendor central
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish

Preferred

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION

  • Preferred Amazon (Vendor Central), Mercado Libre experience and managing e-commerce business. Strong understanding of Amazon (and other Mexico online retailers) marketplace dynamics, algorithms, and best practices
  • Familiarity with Amazon advertising, SEO, and marketplace policies.
  • Understanding of digital retail operations, fulfillment, and P&L management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Experience managing vendor relationships.
