In this role as a Customer Service & E-Commerce Team Leader, you will guide our Customer Service and E-Commerce operations. Your focus will be on enhancing the checkout experience and streamlining grocery delivery and pickup services at your designated store. You will play a crucial role in ensuring safety, quality of online orders, an exceptional pickup experience, and overall team productivity. Monitoring key performance indicators and in-store visual cues will help you evaluate team performance.
Your daily operations will involve managing capacity, labor efficiency, compliance with pick processes, and execution for E-Commerce tasks, as well as cash management and customer demand strategies for our Customer Service functions. Supporting the Team Leader, you will develop and inspire Team Members, embrace Whole Foods Market's core values, and ensure adherence to health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer experiences and hold Team Members accountable for stellar service.
- Establish clear expectations balancing in-store service with online order completion.
- Monitor customer flow both in-store and online; delegate tasks while meeting customer needs.
- Stay informed about competitors and industry trends.
- Ensure effective and swift responses to all customer questions and concerns.
- Build collaborative relationships with departmental leaders and partners.
- Cultivate a positive and respectful team environment.
- Maintain safety and security standards for your team.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
- Develop, coach, and motivate Team Members to sustain high performance and low turnover.
- Ensure cleanliness of work areas, including staging spaces and storage coolers.
- Safeguard all equipment and resources.
- Identify and recommend process improvements proactively.
- Consistently model and communicate Whole Foods Market's core values and leadership principles.

Qualifications
- A minimum of 12 months of retail experience.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Stand/walk for 6-8 hours during an 8-hour workday.
- Perform hand tasks such as grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling.
- Engage in bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching motions.
- Exposure to FDA-approved cleaning chemicals.
- Experience working in temperatures reaching up to 90 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Ability to work in wet and cold environments.
- Flexibility to work varying schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to use tools and equipment like box cutters and electric pallet jacks.
The wage range for this position is $19.50-$30.20 per hour, depending on experience. Whole Foods Market provides comprehensive benefits that may include health insurance, retirement plans, eligibility for store discounts, and paid time off.
