Our client is looking for a dynamic and creative Senior E-commerce & Social Media Specialist to join their team in Indianapolis, Indiana, US . This role will be instrumental in driving online sales and brand engagement through strategic management of our e-commerce platform and social media channels. The ideal candidate possesses a proven ability to develop and execute successful e-commerce campaigns, manage social media content calendars, engage with online communities, and analyze performance metrics to optimize results. You will be responsible for enhancing the online customer journey, increasing website traffic, and driving conversions. This position requires a blend of analytical thinking and creative execution, with a strong understanding of digital marketing trends and best practices. You will work collaboratively with marketing, sales, and design teams to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement comprehensive e-commerce strategies to drive online sales and revenue growth. Manage and optimize product listings, descriptions, and pricing on the e-commerce platform. Plan, create, schedule, and publish engaging content across various social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn). Monitor social media channels for trends, customer inquiries, and feedback, responding in a timely and professional manner. Build and nurture online communities, fostering engagement and brand loyalty. Analyze website traffic, conversion rates, and social media performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights. Develop and execute paid social media advertising campaigns to reach target audiences and drive conversions. Collaborate with the marketing team on integrated digital marketing campaigns. Identify opportunities for A/B testing and optimization of e-commerce pages and social media content. Stay current with the latest e-commerce trends, social media algorithms, and digital marketing best practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field. Minimum of 4 years of experience in e-commerce management and social media marketing. Proven track record of successfully managing e-commerce platforms and driving online sales. Extensive experience in developing and executing social media strategies and campaigns. Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Insights). Strong understanding of SEO principles and their application to e-commerce. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for creative content creation. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Experience with graphic design tools is a plus.
