Responsibilities
Oversee the strategic direction and operational execution of the company's e-commerce platform, ensuring optimal performance and scalability. Drive initiatives to enhance the user experience, including site navigation, product merchandising, and checkout processes. Collaborate closely with marketing, product, and IT teams to integrate new features, promotions, and content effectively. Develop and implement data-driven strategies to increase conversion rates, average order value, and customer lifetime value. Analyze website performance metrics, customer behavior, and market trends to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation. Manage relationships with third-party vendors and technology partners to ensure timely delivery and quality of services. Stay abreast of the latest e-commerce and social media marketing best practices, tools, and technologies. Lead and mentor a team of e-commerce specialists, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment. Develop and manage the e-commerce platform budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and ROI. Create and execute A/B tests and other optimization strategies to continuously improve site performance. Ensure the platform complies with all relevant legal and security standards. Develop and manage content strategy for product pages, blog, and other relevant sections. Monitor competitor activities and market landscape to maintain a competitive edge. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field. An MBA is a plus. Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in e-commerce management, with a strong focus on platform strategy and operations. Proven track record of successfully managing and growing online retail businesses. In-depth knowledge of e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify Plus, Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud), analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics), and CRM systems. Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media advertising. Experience with UX/UI principles and best practices for e-commerce websites. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills. Demonstrated leadership and team management experience. Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments. Experience in managing vendor relationships.
