Job Title: WebSphere Commerce Developer

Location: 100% Remote

Work Hours: Must be comfortable working US Central Time(6.30PM IST to 3.30AM IST)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced WebSphere Commerce Developer with a solid background in Java development and hands-on expertise in WebSphere Commerce V8 . The ideal candidate will have experience developing and supporting B2B e-commerce applications, working across the full software development lifecycle, and delivering scalable, high-performance solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using Java and WebSphere Commerce V8
• Develop and enhance B2B e-commerce solutions
• Customize and extend WebSphere Commerce components as per business requirements
• Build and deploy Java-based applications in enterprise environments
• Work with MVC frameworks to develop scalable web applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UI/UX, QA, and business stakeholders
• Perform code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization
• Participate in application architecture discussions and technical design reviews
• Ensure best practices in coding, security, and application performance

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in Custom Java Development
• Strong experience standing up and deploying Java-based applications
• Hands-on experience with WebSphere Commerce V8
• Experience developing B2B E-commerce applications
• Strong understanding of MVC architecture and frameworks
• Good understanding of web technologies and application servers
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Preferred / Nice to Have

• Experience with Front-end UI development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.)
• Experience working in remote teams
• Knowledge of e-commerce best practices and integrations

Soft Skills

• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Comfortable working in US Central Time zone
