Do you have a passion for marketing operations and technology? Trimble is seeking a talented, data- and process-driven Marketing Operations Specialist to support our fast-growing Owner and Public Sector organization. In this role, you will work with a team of marketing and sales professionals to develop marketing reports, build strategic processes for lead flow and routing, and ultimately use data to tell the story of where marketing efforts were most effective through attribution reporting.

What You Will Do

Reporting directly to the Marketing Operations Manager, you will work in a cross-functional organization with members of the Marketing and Sales teams to build processes reporting that will help drive key decisions. Your work will inform where marketing efforts are working and where they are not, impacting strategic decisions for coming quarters and years.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is an experienced Marketing professional who wants to assume more responsibility and help drive our Marketing operations efforts.

This candidate will be self-motivated, always looking for ways to take operational excellence to the next level, and a strong team player who takes great pride in the quality, precision, and measurable results of his/her work.

This candidate will own the ‘Responsibilities’ below but is not required to know how to execute on day one; Marketing-specific training will be offered to the right candidate.

Responsibilities

Own marketing technology software and systems, from implementation to adoption, working with the systems architect.

Drive current best practices across the martech stack, making recommendations to drive higher performance and optimization.

Manage technical aspects of marketing system integration (e.g. Marketo and Salesforce)

Work cross-functionally to create and maintain metrics reports focused on Marketing and Sales activities, effectiveness, and business impact(s).

Develop insights and make recommendations on potential areas of optimization.

Contribute to the development or improvement of systems or processes to effectively improve data cleanliness and management.

Build and execute Marketo campaigns and follow the overall governance structure established by the Marketing Operations Architect, to ensure best-in-class campaigns; training and playbook development.

What Skills & Experience You Should Bring

Minimum 2-4 years of experience in a Marketing Operations, Campaign or Demand Generation Campaign role

1-3 years of experience engaging with business technology platforms

(e.g. CRM, ERP, BI, Marketing Automation tools)

Intermediate to advanced user experience with Marketo required (campaign operations and execution)

Experience with Salesforce, Domo, Pardot or HubSpot a plus, though not required

B2B Marketing experience (campaign operations) a plus though not required

Must be an effective communicator (written and verbal), able to manage multiple priorities with strong attention to detail, comfortable with tight deadlines

Experience interfacing with internal stakeholders at various levels of the hierarchy (Marketing, Sales, Leadership)

Self-starter who enjoys "figuring things out" with an inquisitive mind; a creative thinker

High attention to detail, well organized, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a positive attitude

Bachelor's degree with emphasis in business, marketing, or related field or equivalent experience required
