About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Digital Marketplaces Manager with a strong track record of driving digital sales at scale and leading high performing teams. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in online marketplaces and the ability to shape and accelerate the digital growth of a premium brand across the US. This role will take full ownership of the US digital marketplaces business, including Amazon, Faire, Goldbelly, DoorDash, and future platforms. The successful candidate will combine strategic leadership, data driven decision making, and platform expertise to drive profitable growth, optimize the customer experience, and expand our presence across multiple digital ecosystems.


Responsibilities:

  • Own the US P&L across all digital marketplaces (Amazon, Faire, Goldbelly, DoorDash, and others), driving sustainable growth and profitability through strategic planning and execution.
  • Lead and develop a team while collaborating cross-functionally with E-commerce, Wholesale, Marketing, IT, Customer Service, Logistics, and external partners to optimize product listings, customer journeys, assortment, and visibility across each platform.
  • Define and execute channel-specific and cross-marketplace strategies, balancing brand positioning, commercial performance, and operational efficiency.
  • Manage Amazon advertising across Sponsored Products, Brands, and Display campaigns.
  • Develop and implement data-driven sales targets and action plans for the US market, aligned with overall commercial and brand objectives.
  • Expand and strengthen Venchi's presence on Amazon in the US and accelerate sales growth.
  • Oversee assortment planning, inventory forecasting, pricing, promotions, and availability across marketplaces, adapting strategies to the specific mechanics of each platform.
  • Analyze marketplace performance metrics and translate insights into actionable recommendations for continuous improvement, leveraging tools such as Amazon Vendor Central, platform-native analytics, and Power BI.
  • Identify and champion new opportunities, platforms, and initiatives to accelerate sales growth and brand awareness across the digital marketplace ecosystem.


Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in digital marketplaces, e-commerce, or B2B/B2C digital sales, with expertise in P&L ownership with evidence of ROI optimization.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience and strong hands-on expertise in managing Amazon Vendor accounts, combined with a solid understanding of other marketplaces (e.g., Faire, Goldbelly, DoorDash, or similar).
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth and achieving ambitious targets in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
  • 2+ years of experience leading and managing a team preferred.
  • Strong analytical mindset, with proficiency in performance drivers and key analytics tools (e.g., Vendor Central, Retail Analytics and Console Ads Power BI, competitor, and pricing analysis tools).
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • A structured problem-solver with strong decision-making capabilities and comfort operating with a high degree of ownership.
  • Passion for digital trends, evolving marketplace dynamics, and continuous improvement.
  • Positive, flexible, and results-oriented mindset (chocolate and gelato enthusiasm a plus!).


Pay range and compensation package: This role offers a base salary of $120,000 to $130,000, plus a bonus tied to the achievement of key company objectives. The offered salary or salary range is based on several factors, including, but not limited to, overall experience, relevant experience, education level, certifications, applicable skills and expertise.
