We are a residential HVAC company serving homeowners in Staunton, VA, and the surrounding areas. We provide heating and cooling installation, maintenance, and repair services. Our goal is to generate high-quality leads from local homeowners who need HVAC services—especially during peak seasons and emergencies.

We’re looking for a YouTube Ads specialist who can help us turn video content into booked appointments and phone calls.

Role Overview

We’re seeking an experienced YouTube Ads Manager to create, manage, and optimize YouTube ad campaigns focused on local lead generation. You will be responsible for driving calls, form submissions, and quote requests from homeowners in our service area.

We can either

  • Provide ready-made video content (service overviews, testimonials, promotions), or
  • Have you help us shape or create new video ad concepts in collaboration with our team? We prefer this route

Responsibilities

Campaign Strategy & Setup

  • Develop a YouTube ads strategy tailored to a local residential HVAC market and our ideal homeowner profile.
  • Set up and manage campaigns in Google Ads/YouTube, including geo-targeting around our service area, budgeting, bidding, and placements.
  • Recommend and test different campaign types and formats (skippable in-stream, non-skippable, in-feed, etc.).

Creative & Ad Management

  • Use our existing videos(we do not have many videos) or collaborate with us on new ads (e.g., seasonal tune-up offers, emergency repair services, system replacements, financing offers).
  • Optimize hooks, scripts, overlays, thumbnails, and CTAs to drive phone calls and quote requests.
  • Ensure all ads clearly communicate our brand, trust factors, and local expertise.

Performance Tracking & Optimization

  • Track and analyze key metrics such as CTR, CPV, cost per lead, conversion rate, and ROAS.
  • Perform A/B testing on creatives, offers, audiences, and messaging.
  • Continuously optimize campaigns to lower cost per lead and increase qualified inquiries.

Collaboration & Reporting

  • Work closely with our team to align campaigns with promotions (e.g., pre-season tune-up specials, emergency repair, new system installs, financing deals).
  • Provide regular performance reports (weekly/bi-weekly) with insights, what’s working, and clear next steps.
  • Suggest new video ideas and campaign angles to improve engagement and conversion.

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing YouTube ad campaigns, ideally with local service businesses or home services (HVAC, plumbing, roofing, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of:
  • **Google Ads & YouTube Ads
  • **Local targeting and audience segmentation
  • **Conversion tracking (calls, forms, booked appointments)
  • **Ability to interpret data and turn it into practical optimization decisions.
  • **Passion for digital marketing and staying updated on YouTube and performance marketing best practices.
  • **Strong creative sense for ad design: compelling hooks, clear messaging, strong offers, and visual clarity.
  • **Clear communication skills and reliability working with a small, busy team.

Nice-to-Have

  • **Experience specifically with HVAC or similar trades targeting homeowners.
  • **Knowledge of call tracking tools and lead management systems (e.g., CallRail, CRM tools).
  • **Basic video editing skills to tweak or repurpose existing content.
