Social Media Advertising Lead (Short-Form Video Specialist)
UpworkWe are looking for a performance-driven Advertising Lead to own the end-to-end execution of our short-form video strategy across TikTok, Instagram (Reels), and YouTube Shorts.
The ideal candidate doesn’t just "set up ads"—they understand how to leverage platform-specific trends and creative hooks to drive measurable ROI. You will be responsible for translating our brand goals into high-converting video campaigns while maintaining a rigorous focus on technical targeting and data integrity.
Key Responsibilities
Creative Strategy: Lead the development of short-form video concepts designed for high engagement and conversion.
Campaign Management: Build, launch, and optimize paid campaigns across TikTok Ads Manager, Meta Ads Manager, and Google/YouTube.
Data & Audience Architecture: Implement sophisticated targeting strategies, including first-party data onboarding and CRM integration.
Performance Analysis: Monitor KPIs, conduct A/B creative testing, and provide actionable insights to improve CAC and ROAS.
Technical Requirements
Advanced Targeting: Proven expertise in Lookalike/Similar Audiences and platform-native interest targeting.
Precision Reach: Deep experience in Contextual Targeting and cross-platform Retargeting (Site, App, and CRM-based).
Data Management: Hands-on experience with first-party data onboarding and ensuring signal resilience (e.g., Conversions API).
Creative Literacy: A strong understanding of what makes a video "stop the scroll" on TikTok vs. IG Reels.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience managing monthly budgets of $3,000-$5,000/month
Familiarity with UGC (User Generated Content) workflows and creator partnerships.
Ability to communicate technical data into clear, strategic "next steps" for the creative team.
