Part-Time Digital Marketing Manager — YouTube, LinkedIn & Paid Ads (Federal Contracting Services)
Upwork
We are a services-based federal contracting support firm, providing federal opportunity sourcing, qualification, and proposal support to small businesses and emerging federal contractors. Our work helps clients bring discipline to their federal pipeline and reduce wasted bid spend.
We are seeking a part-time Digital Marketing Manager to build and manage demand-generation campaigns focused on YouTube, LinkedIn (organic + paid), and Google Ads. This role is strictly services marketing—no SaaS or product-led growth.
The objective is clear: increase qualified inbound leads from federal contractors who understand what we do before they ever speak with us.
What You’ll Do:
- Create and manage short-form and mid-form video content (YouTube + LinkedIn) explaining our federal services, value, and use cases.
- Develop and publish LinkedIn content targeted at federal contractors (pipeline discipline, Go/No-Go decisions, proposal cost control, SAM.gov noise).
- Plan, launch, and optimize Google Ads and LinkedIn Ads campaigns focused on lead generation for professional services.
- Build and manage simple landing-page and webinar funnels aligned to service offerings.
- Support email and retargeting campaigns tied to paid and organic traffic.
- Monitor performance and continuously optimize campaigns based on CPL, MQL quality, and engagement.
- Track and report on key metrics: impressions, CTR, CPL, MQLs, and campaign ROI.
- Coordinate messaging to ensure consistency across video, ads, webinars, and organic channels.
Who You Are:
- Strong background in digital marketing for services businesses (consulting, agencies, professional services).
- Hands-on experience with YouTube content strategy, LinkedIn organic posting, and paid ads (Google + LinkedIn).
- Experience working with webinars as a lead-generation channel; WebinarJam experience is a plus.
- Comfortable being accountable to lead quality, not just impressions or clicks.
- Analytical and metrics-driven; you know how to adjust campaigns based on real performance.
- GovCon / federal contracting experience is strongly preferred (you understand RFPs, federal buyers, and contractor decision-making).
- Clear communicator who can translate complex services into simple, credible messaging.
Compensation:
- $20/hour (part-time, flexible schedule)
- $20 per Marketing Qualified Lead (MQL) (based on defined qualification criteria)
- $200 per closed client directly attributed to marketing efforts
Why This Role Matters
This role directly impacts pipeline quality and revenue—not vanity metrics. You’ll help position a federal services firm in front of the right contractors, reduce unqualified inbound noise, and support disciplined growth through measurable digital marketing.
Skills Required:
- Digital marketing for services businesses
- YouTube & LinkedIn content strategy
- Google Ads & LinkedIn Ads management
- Webinar funnel execution (WebinarJam a plus)
- Funnel and landing-page optimization
- Analytics, reporting, and performance optimization
- Understanding of federal contracting / GovCon markets
How to Apply
Please include:
1. Relevant experience with services-based digital marketing
2. Examples of YouTube videos, LinkedIn content, paid ad campaigns, or webinars you’ve managed
3. Experience with Google Ads and/or LinkedIn Ads
4. Any experience with WebinarJam or similar webinar platforms
5. Your familiarity with federal contracting—or how you would quickly adapt to this audience
