Online Department Customer Service Representative/Shipper - The Boardroom (North Vancouver)

Note* This is not a remote position. The employee is required to work from our North Vancouver office.

The Boardroom is consistently voted Vancouver's best Snowboard Store but we also specialize in Streetwear/footwear, skateboarding and watersports. We are an industry leader and are looking for the right individuals to continue this trend.

We are looking for a customer service representative/order fulfillment/shipper to work in our online department.

The position offers many benefits as staff get access to the activities and product that The Boardroom sells. The Boardroom is heavily involved in community related events.

Job Duties

• Processing online orders
• Picking, packing and shipping online orders

Skills required

• Knowledge and passion for relevant activities -- snow/skate/wake and surf
• Excellent time management
• Great customer service skills
• Competent with Microsoft Office, Excel, retail inventory programs
• Fluent in English
• Good problem solver
• Pleasant phone manner
• Accurate and detail-oriented
• Ability to multi-task
• Reliable

A background in retail or online sales would be an asset.

Job Duties

• Answer incoming customer inquiries
• Pick, Pack and Ship online orders
• Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner while actively listening to their concerns
• Offer support and solutions to customers in accordance with the company's customer service policies
• Other duties as requested
