Summary
This role leads full-funnel performance marketing strategy and execution across global digital channels, with ownership of annual media investment spanning DTC, eCommerce, and brand-driving initiatives. The Senior Performance Marketing Manager is responsible for driving measurable revenue growth through data-informed planning, testing, and optimization across paid search, paid social, streaming, retail media, and marketplace platforms. This leader ensures performance efficiency (ROAS, MER, CPA, LTV) while maintaining strong brand alignment and consistent consumer experiences across channels.
Essential Duties
- Lead global performance marketing strategy across paid search, social, streaming/CTV, and retail media, managing annual media investment to drive revenue growth and brand equity.
- Develop integrated media plans that balance long-term brand building with near-term acquisition, ROAS, and contribution margin targets.
- Own relationships with external media, analytics, and eCommerce agencies, ensuring accountability, performance rigor, and seamless omnichannel execution.
- Direct DTC acquisition strategy including budget allocation, forecasting, testing roadmaps, conversion optimization, and full-funnel performance reporting.
- Oversee marketplace and retail media strategy across Amazon, Target, and Walmart, ensuring effective budget deployment and alignment with sales objectives.
- Establish scalable reporting frameworks, KPI dashboards, and first-party data activation strategies to improve targeting, incrementality, and performance visibility.
- Lead paid digital strategy in key international markets, aligning global standards with local execution to achieve revenue and efficiency goals.
Responsibilities
Performance & Brand Growth
- Own global paid media strategy and budget allocation across all major platforms.
- Drive media mix optimization, testing strategy, and audience segmentation frameworks.
- Deliver quarterly cross-functional performance reviews with actionable insights and forward-looking plans.
- Train and upskill internal teams on performance best practices and platform evolution.
DTC Acquisition
- Own DTC performance marketing plan, budget pacing, and KPI delivery (CAC, ROAS, LTV, CVR).
- Partner with agencies and analytics teams to improve funnel performance and conversion rates.
- Deliver monthly performance reporting and forecasting to DTC stakeholders.
eCommerce & Retail Media
- Lead Amazon Advertising strategy and trade media investment in partnership with Director of eCommerce.
- Oversee retail media platforms including Walmart Connect, Target Roundel, and Criteo.
- Develop paid search, DSP, and marketplace audience strategies to drive incremental sales.
- Partner with eCommerce and shopper marketing teams to align media with merchandising and promotional priorities.
Strategic & Organizational Leadership
- Ensure consistent brand experience across all paid channels.
- Own first-party data strategy and activation across acquisition and retention campaigns.
- Establish standardized reporting and measurement frameworks across brands.
- Monitor digital trends, platform updates, and emerging media opportunities.
- Adjust budget allocations dynamically to meet organizational revenue and efficiency targets.
International Marketing
- Develop and execute paid media strategies for Canada, Australia, and UK.
- Manage regional and international marketplace budgets with clear performance accountability.
- Coordinate global campaign rollouts across owned markets with local market alignment.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5-7+ years of performance or digital marketing experience managing omnichannel campaigns and large media budgets.
- Deep expertise across Meta, Google Ads, Amazon Advertising, retail media networks, CTV, and programmatic platforms. You were hands on keyboard!
- Strong background in DTC acquisition, marketplace advertising, and retail media strategy.
- Proven agency management and cross-functional leadership experience.
- Advanced analytical skills with experience in forecasting, attribution, incrementality testing, and performance optimization.

Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field required
- MBA or advanced degree preferred
Industry Experience
- Consumer goods or retail experience preferred
- Experience supporting global brands and international markets
- Background managing both DTC and marketplace (retail media) channels
Compensation
- Full time, on-site
- $99,840-$131,040 is the salary range for this position. It represents a portion of the overall package, and includes flexibility based on the candidate's qualifications.
