Digital Marketing Specialist

As part of the marketing team at Brazos, the Digital Marketing Specialist will support the development and execution of marketing campaigns aligned with the company's strategic goals by creating engaging content across organic social media, email marketing, print projects, and the website, and assisting with ongoing website updates and performance support.
Salary range: $55,000 - $75,000 per year depending on experience.
II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
include the following. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.
- Manage the company's organic social media presence, including content strategy, audience engagement, performance analysis, and ongoing optimization based on platform trends and industry best practices.
- Oversee the company's email marketing program in partnership with third-party providers, ensuring strong deliverability, engagement, and domain reputation.
- Analyze and report on organic social media, email, and website performance to inform marketing strategy and support continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Customer Service and Sales, to support targeted and specialized marketing campaigns.
- Partner with external vendors, including advertising agencies, printing partners, and other service providers, to ensure successful execution of marketing initiatives.
- Manage blog content development in coordination with third-party contributors.
- Coordinate with the Legal department to ensure all marketing materials and communications comply with applicable state and federal consumer protection regulations.
- Maintain and update website content using WordPress, including landing pages and campaign-related content, ensuring accuracy and functionality.
- Support website functionality and basic digital integrations in coordination with the Marketing Systems Manager.

IV. Qualifications

A. Education
Required: Bachelor's Degree
Field of study: Marketing, Communications, or related field
Preferred: Bachelor's Degree with post graduate work
Field of study: Marketing, Communications, or related field
B. Experience
Required: 1 year but less than 3 years of previous experience
Preferred: 3 years but less than 5 years of previous experience
C. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements
- Portfolio of relevant previous projects highly preferred.
D. Other Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required
- Experience managing social media accounts, including Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), LinkedIn, and Instagram.
- Knowledge of digital marketing techniques, including SEO, SEM, PPC and Google Analytics.
- Strong writing skills with the ability to create engaging content across multiple marketing channels.
- Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to analyze metrics and track campaign and website performance.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, Mailchimp and Zoho CRM.
- Experience with graphic design software and video editing tools such as Canva and Adobe Creative suite.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience maintaining and updating website content using WordPress; working knowledge of HTML/CSS and basic JavaScript preferred.
