Digital Marketing Officer – Solar Energy Association – Covent Garden, London

We are funded largely by our membership and represent a thriving member-led community of over 400+ businesses and associates, from innovative SMEs to global brands. We're looking for a Digital Marketing Officer to join our dynamic marketing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a creative and organised individual with hands‑on experience in digital marketing to make an impact in a growing sector.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media
- Maintain a consistent brand voice across LinkedIn, X, Bluesky, and YouTube
- Write compelling copy, and design assets using Canva and Adobe Stock
- Schedule content via Hootsuite
- Monitor and respond to comments and messages professionally
Website Management
- Update content and optimise websites (blogs, landing pages, event pages)
- Add SEO (keywords, metadata) to backend of websites
- Manage our Member Community Portal (Hivebrite) and boost engagement
- Coordinate with internal teams for timely content updates
Design & Email Support
- Assist with design of brochures, reports, and case studies in Canva
- Design Mailchimp email campaigns during busy periods
Event Support
- Help coordinate in‑person events (exhibitions, conferences, networking)
- Set up registrations through Eventbrite
- Organise event marketing and branding assets
- Action sponsorship / partnership marketing deliverables
Requirements
About You
- Minimum 1 years' experience in digital marketing
- Experience in platforms Canva, CMS, Hootsuite, Mailchimp
- Open to training on required platforms where required
