Summary

SJC is seeking a detail-oriented Ad Operations Campaign Manager to join our advertising team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the technical setup, monitoring, and reporting of digital advertising campaigns and solutions. As an Ad Operations Campaign Manager, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful operation of advertising activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end management and execution of SJC’s direct advertising campaigns in Google Ad Manager, including order and line item setups, trafficking, forecasting, reporting, QA, and technical troubleshooting.
  • Serve as the primary operational partner for Sales and other internal stakeholders, translating client RFPs and proposals into executable digital activation strategies across the SJC portfolio, while ensuring feasibility and inventory availability.
  • Act as a technical bridge between Ad Operations, Sales, PMO, and clients by addressing campaign-related technical questions, issues, and optimizations.
  • Conduct regular ad compliance audits to ensure that ad creatives, ad layout, and website content meet technical, regulatory, and quality standards
  • Collaborate with SJC Accounts Receivable on Month-End reporting and payment reconciliation against revenue reports via 'Aging Reports'.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of documentation related to ad operations processes and best practices.
  • Stay current on ad tech, digital marketing, and industry trends, proactively surfacing opportunities to improve SJC’s digital advertising solutions.
  • Assist in the implementation of new ad technologies and features.
  • Carry out Ad Hoc investigations as required.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in Ad Operations, preferably within a digital publishing or media owner environment.
  • Strong hands-on expertise with Google Ad Manager (GAM), including direct order and line item setup, forecasting, and campaign management. Understanding of ad trafficking, tracking, and troubleshooting technical issues.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and troubleshoot technical problems.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Solid understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem, including DSPs, SSPs, and programmatic advertising concepts.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, and other relevant technologies in the digital advertising space is a plus.
  • Experience working with ad verification tools is a plus.
  • Experience with accounting or book-keeping principles is a plus.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving digital advertising landscape.
