As we continue expanding across retail and direct-to-consumer channels, we are seeking an analytical and detail-oriented Ecommerce Inventory Analyst to help manage inventory planning and support operational growth.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data, Excel, and numbers, and who wants to play a key role in Forecasting Sales, managing inventory and supporting retail operations.
Position Overview
The Ecommerce Inventory Analyst will help manage inventory levels across multiple retail locations and ecommerce channels. This role involves analyzing inventory data, assisting with purchase orders, tracking shipments, and helping ensure that products are available where and when they are needed.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, and comfortable working with spreadsheets and data. Previous inventory planning experience is helpful but not required.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Performance Monitoring
- Review weekly product sell-through and inventory levels
- Help ensure stores maintain appropriate stock levels
- Support decisions around replenishment and allocation
Inventory Planning & Analysis
- Monitor inventory levels and analyze product movement across stores and ecommerce channels
- Support forecasting and purchasing decisions based on inventory trends
- Assist with placing purchase orders with factories based on sales projections
- Track open purchase orders, quantities, and product categories
Inventory Tracking & Coordination
- Monitor production schedules and delivery timelines
- Ensure products are delivered to the correct store locations
- Upload and receive inventory across all retail locations
- Maintain accurate inventory records across systems
Inventory Reconciliation
- Reconcile received inventory with vendor packing lists and purchase orders
- Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies
- Maintain organized documentation of inventory adjustments
Communication & Collaboration
- Coordinate with vendors, warehouses, and internal teams
- Communicate updates related to shipments, delays, or inventory issues
Qualifications
Required
- Strong Excel skills including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis
- Highly analytical and comfortable working with numbers and large datasets
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
- Experience in ecommerce operations, inventory management, retail merchandising, supply chain, or data analysis
- Experience working with inventory systems or ERP platforms
