[Remote] Paid Media Manager – Team Leadership Required

PBJ Marketing is a rapidly growing, full-service digital marketing agency seeking a Paid Media Manager with prior experience in digital marketing. The role involves developing and managing a portfolio of PPC accounts and marketing campaigns, maintaining client communications, and leading a small team to ensure successful campaign execution.
Responsibilities
- Maintain ongoing, proactive, and consistent communications with clients on account progress, performance, and problem resolution
- Develop multi-channel, fully integrated Paid Digital Marketing campaigns and strategies, including Search, Display, Social, Video, etc
- Leverage several online and offline tools to carry out analysis and to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of Paid Media accounts
- Actively test and analyze paid search ad copy to achieve maximum ROI
- Execute and analyze monthly paid media business metrics, budgets, and reports
- Research and evaluate paid marketing efforts and identify new campaign opportunities
- Track paid media best practices, bid management systems, keyword developments, and industry trends
- Manage one direct report with full accountability for performance, development, and day-to-day support, with the opportunity to help scale and mentor a growing team as the department expands
Skills
- Minimum of 5 years of direct experience managing Paid Media campaigns
- Minimum 2 years of managing direct reports
- Minimum 4 years in a client-facing role
- 5 to 7 years of experience working on Google Ads (Search, Display, PMax, Shopping), Microsoft Ads, and Paid Social advertising (TikTok Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads)
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Marketing or any relevant major
- Advanced web skills, proficiency with Excel, search engine interfaces, and ad platforms
- Ability to demonstrate analytical skills, technical knowledge, and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Eagerness to deliver under tight deadlines
- The personal discipline to manage and develop campaigns for clients
- Outstanding time management and organization skills
- The ability to work solo and with a team as needed
- The ability to accept constructive criticism in a professional manner and to learn from edits
