Title: Transformation Consultant (ITSM/Service Desk)

Location: Secaucus, NJ (onsite)

Duration: Long Term Contract

Job Description

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategic transformation of best in class Global Service desk aligning with "Service Centric vision, Guiding Principles and introduces industry best practice and innovation in a global service desk function.
  • Build trust and credibility with a broad range of clients across various service lines of client organization and its Project management organization (PMO), communicate the strategic vision for Global service desk and actively engage them to adopt the transformation vision of Global service desk to deliver the outcomes expected by the client.
  • Facilitates definition of implementation roadmap and key outcomes
  • Provide oversight to Technical and Architecture teams

Experience

  • Designing and managing portfolio of multiple concurrent projects in a global Service Management organization
  • Consulting to organizations with multiple outsourced vendor partners
  • Have proven ability to collaborate with and coach senior executives
  • Have proven ability to work hands-on with project and program-level details, effort forecasting, task leveling, conflict remediation, and financial control
  • Demonstrated flexibility to continuously lead multiple project teams as internal and external factors impact project and program baselines
  • Have the keen ability to express program outcomes in business terms including outcomes and return on investment of projects and transformation activities

Qualifications

  • 10+ years' experience in client facing consulting roles with significant portion in Transforming Service desk operations
  • Technology focus areas including IT operations, IT Consulting, Service Management space with IT in an operations of Consulting
  • Expert in Service Desk design and deployment
  • Strong knowledge of ITIL including but not limited to Incident, problem, change, Configuration, Asset processes
  • Leading large, global delivery teams

Nice to have

  • Experience in using and implementing service management solutions in ServiceNow platform
