E-commerce Daily Order Processing Supervisor (Injambakkam)

Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented E-commerce Daily Order Processing Supervisor to manage end-to-end daily order processing across multiple online platforms. The candidate will be responsible for downloading shipping labels, assigning orders to packers, ensuring timely packing, verifying scanning at dispatch, and coordinating handover to delivery partners. The role also includes shift planning and manpower allocation based on daily order volumes.

Key Responsibilities

1) Order Processing & Label Management

• Download shipping labels and invoices daily from multiple e-commerce platforms (Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho, Shopify, etc.).
• Ensure all orders are processed accurately without delays.
• Organize labels platform-wise and priority-wise (same-day, next-day, urgent shipments).

2) Packing Coordination

• Assign orders and labels to packers in a systematic manner.
• Ensure packing is completed as per platform guidelines (correct packaging, barcode placement, invoice inclusion, etc.).
• Maintain smooth workflow between label generation and packing completion.

3) Dispatch & Scanning Verification

• Supervise dispatch operations and ensure all packed parcels are scanned correctly.
• Physically verify scanning during handover to delivery partners.
• Ensure no parcel is missed, duplicated, or dispatched without proper scanning.

4) Delivery Partner Coordination

• Coordinate daily pickups with courier/delivery partners.
• Ensure proper handover, scan confirmation, and pickup closure.
• Handle pickup delays and ensure dispatch timelines are met.

5) Shift Planning & Volume-Based Staffing

• Plan daily shifts and allocate packers based on order volume.
• Adjust manpower during peak sales, high-volume days, or special campaigns.
• Ensure maximum productivity with minimal errors.

6) Reporting & Daily Tracking

• Maintain daily dispatch reports (orders processed, packed, pending, cancelled, delayed).
• Track pending orders and ensure same-day dispatch wherever applicable.
• Highlight any platform-related issues, delays, or packing errors to management.

Skills & Requirements

• Experience in e-commerce order processing / warehouse operations preferred.
• Strong knowledge of shipping labels, barcodes, scanning, and dispatch flow.
• Comfortable handling multiple platforms and high-volume order processing.
• Good team coordination and leadership skills.
• Strong attention to detail and speed in execution.
• Basic computer skills (Excel/Google Sheets, printing, downloading labels).

Job Type: Full time

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
