OVERVIEW
Summer interns will complete a 10-week internship located full-time on site in Middletown, CT. Liberty Bank is proud to host a dynamic and diverse internship program designed to cultivate the next generation of banking and finance professionals. Through this immersive internship, participants will have the opportunity to work closely with seasoned professionals, contribute to real world projects and develop essential skills that will prepare them for successful careers in the financial services industry and beyond!
SUMMARY OF THE JOB
As the Digital Program Intern, you will handle various tasks related to digital statistics and trend reporting, project management, and innovation research. The role is designed for a highly motivated, detail-oriented individual who is eager to gain hands-in experience in a fast-paced digital environment and contribute meaningfully to business outcomes.
The Digital Coordinator Intern will help with one or more projects that the Digital team is working on at the time of the internship, allowing opportunities to gain exposure and understanding.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
+ Partner with the digital team to design, build, and maintain dashboards that track key digital performance metrics and usage trends
+ Analyze digital data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities, supporting leadership reporting and decision-making
+ Maintain and update project management dashboards, including timelines, milestones, deadlines, and status reporting across digital initiatives
+ Assist with fintech partnership initiatives, including coordination, documentation, and tracking of ongoing potential partnerships
+ Conduct research on emerging financial technologies, digital tools, and industry trends; summarize findings and recommendations for consideration by the digital leadership team
+ Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
+ Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree. Preferred candidates to be majoring in Project Management or Business Data Analytics.
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills
+ Demonstrated computer skills including Microsoft Office
+ Proven analytical skills
+ Proven critical thinking skills
+ Strong organizational skills
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
+ General Office Equipment
+ Keyboard Dexterity
+ Lifting/carrying up to 25 lbs.
+ Ability to travel.
