Role Description

We’re looking for a Head of Content Systems to design, lead, and scale the content engine that powers our client and internal campaigns.

You’ll build the systems that make creative output predictable, connecting storytelling, performance data, and AI tools under one roof. You’ll manage the P&L of the content department, oversee creative operations across accounts, and make sure every idea, edit, and dollar spent delivers real ROI.

This is a hands-on leadership role. You’ll be in the work while building the team and structure around it. You are both strategist and operator: part storyteller, part data engineer, part team builder.

Responsibilities

Content Strategy & System Design

  • Create a unified content framework for all client accounts, repeatable, testable, and scalable.
  • Develop playbooks for ideation, testing, and creative iteration that help teams move fast without losing quality.
  • Build the bridge between creative and performance, every video, post, and ad backed by data.
  • Standardize reporting and documentation to ensure insights are shared consistently across all clients.

Performance & Operations

  • Own the P&L of the content department; manage budgets, resources, and team capacity across all client accounts.
  • Build dashboards that connect content performance to client growth and profitability.
  • Partner with Growth to align organic and paid content systems.
  • Track key metrics: engagement, watch time, lead flow, and ROI.

Creative Direction & Visual Systems

  • Lead creative standards across platforms while allowing flexibility for each client’s brand.
  • Champion clarity and storytelling over complexity, high-quality work done efficiently.
  • Utilize AI and modern tools to speed up production and enhance creative output.
  • Turn successful experiments into repeatable templates and series formats.

Leadership & Team Building

  • Act as a player-coach; guide editors, strategists, and creators while staying close to the work.
  • Hire and develop a small, high-impact team that thrives in fast-moving environments.
  • Build smooth workflows for briefing, reviews, and delivery across all client pods.
  • Foster a culture that values experimentation, accountability, and excellence.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in content, creative strategy, or marketing leadership roles.
  • Proven track record managing multi-brand content systems or teams.
  • Strong understanding of platform dynamics (YouTube, TikTok, Meta, LinkedIn).
  • Financial acumen; experience managing budgets and measuring ROI.
  • Comfortable working with AI tools across production and analytics.
  • Confident communicator who can collaborate with both creative and business leaders.
  • Ability and willingness to work in person, 5 days a week.
