A top client located in St. Augustine, FL, is searching for an experienced Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). As the CMO, you are responsible for driving brand growth, audience expansion, and revenue performance through strategic marketing leadership. This role oversees brand strategy, performance marketing, demand generation, events, content, digital marketing, and corporate communications. The CMO partners closely with the executive leadership team to execute a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with a large-scale, national platform with multiple investment vehicles and a growing market presence.

As the CMO, your key responsibilities include

Strategic Leadership & Brand Management

  • Own and evolve the company’s brand, voice, positioning, and creative direction across all marketing, communications, and events.
  • Lead positioning as a market authority across core investment themes and growth strategies.
  • Oversee brand consistency and regulatory/compliance alignment across all marketing materials.

Revenue Growth & Demand Generation

  • Develop and execute marketing strategies that drive revenue growth, marketing-qualified leads (MQLs), pipeline development, and conversion performance.
  • Lead performance marketing, SEO, and lead nurturing strategies across multiple channels.
  • Establish and execute a robust Account-Based Marketing (ABM) strategy targeting key stakeholder groups.

Content, Communications & Thought Leadership

  • Lead content strategy, including storytelling, case studies, thought leadership, and stakeholder communications.
  • Drive investor/client engagement through strategic campaigns and messaging.
  • Oversee internal and external communications to support retention, engagement, and growth.

Events & Engagement

  • Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive live and virtual events strategy.
  • Ensure events drive meaningful engagement, capital commitments, and pipeline growth.

Team Leadership & Capability Building

  • Lead, develop, and scale a high-performing marketing organization.
  • Establish clear priorities, accountability, and performance standards.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain top marketing talent.

Marketing Operations & Technology

  • Own the marketing technology stack, including CRM and project management platforms.
  • Lead implementation, adoption, and optimization of marketing systems and workflows.
  • Establish marketing segmentation, automation, and data infrastructure.

Analytics, Reporting & Budget Management

  • Lead marketing analytics, dashboards, scorecards, and ROI reporting.
  • Manage marketing and communications budgets, including forecasting, approval, and reporting.
  • Deliver regular performance reporting to executive leadership.

To be successful in the role, you must possess

  • Proven experience leading a marketing function within a large, complex organization (5B+ in assets and 200+ employees).
  • Deep experience in marketing to high-net-worth individuals and institutional clients.
  • Strong background in B2B marketing, performance marketing, and growth strategy.
  • Extensive experience with CRM platforms (HubSpot preferred) and ABM marketing.
  • Demonstrated success building and scaling marketing teams.
  • Strong executive presence with exceptional communication, leadership, and strategic planning skills.
  • Ability to work on-site in St. Augustine, FL

Preferred Background

  • Experience in wealth management, banking, financial services, or investment platforms with significant HNW client acquisition operations.
  • Experience operating within highly regulated environments.
