Purpose
The Media Supervisor will manage and lead a team of Media Managers, working to drive clients’ paid media strategy across advertising solutions with a focus on Paid Search, Social, Programmatic Display, and other media channels. The position must stay up to date on the latest paid media trends and capabilities, identifying which clients they apply to as well as laying out the steps for implementation. The Media Supervisor is accountable for campaign strategy and account performance to ensure business objectives are met. This role is equal parts client-facing and team management. This role acts in a consultative manner to build client trust, educate, and deliver on client goals. The role must also be adept at leading, training, and coaching junior media team members who are responsible for campaign activation, optimization, and reporting.

Essential Functions of the Job
Strategic Leadership & Innovation
· Lead media strategy across multiple accounts, ensuring campaigns support client objectives and business growth.
· Stay current on industry trends and new platform opportunities, identifying testing opportunities for clients.
· Drive process improvements to scale efficiency, quality, and innovation within the media department.
Client Advisory & Partnership
· Serve as a senior strategic partner and trusted advisor to clients.
· Lead client strategy and performance meetings, presenting insights and recommendations confidently.
· Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
· Manage vendor relationships and evaluate new platforms or tools that enhance client outcomes.
Operational & Financial Accountability
· Oversee account profitability, budget allocation, and billing accuracy across assigned accounts.
· Collaborate with Director of Media and Media Leads on department vision, team structure, and long-term growth initiatives.
Reporting & Insights
· Deliver accurate, detailed monthly and ad-hoc reporting that connects media results to client business objectives.
· Translate complex data into clear, compelling insights and actionable strategies for clients and internal teams.
· Ensure conversion tracking and analytics (GA4, CRM, etc.) are set up and monitored effectively.
Team Leadership & Mentorship
· Coach and mentor Media Managers to strengthen their technical, analytical, and strategic capabilities.
· Provide feedback and guidance to ensure quality of work.
· Support workload prioritization and help problem-solve execution challenges.
AI Partnership (or AI-Enabled Operations)
· Embrace a forward-thinking, AI-partnered approach to agency operations, seeking opportunities to streamline workflows, enhance decision-making, and drive creativity through the thoughtful application of AI tools and technologies.
· Stay informed on emerging AI platforms relevant to advertising, marketing, media, and agency services; recommend and test solutions that align with business goals.
· Champion a culture of experimentation, encouraging team members to responsibly adopt and adapt AI tools to elevate their work—while maintaining creative integrity and strategic thinking.

Required Skills and Experience
· 7+ years’ experience in digital marketing and/or paid media, having developed strategy and executed campaigns across multiple channels, including search, display/ programmatic and social.
· Experience leading and mentoring digital marketing associates
· Demonstrated experience in a client-facing role, managing paid media accounts focused on lead generation and direct response campaigns.
· Proven ability to translate high-level client goals into paid media strategy.
· Proven ability to analyze campaign data and come up with a performance-driven strategy, recommendation, or solution.
· Demonstrated success operating in an environment where cross-functional collaboration with teams is required.
· Track record of success and meeting deadlines.
· Excellent research and analytical skills.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Experience in Google Analytics (GA4) and Google Tag Manager.
· SEO experience not required but is a plus.
· Data visualization or advanced analytics experience preferred.
· Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
Job Demands & Conditions
· This position is a remote working situation with the ability to meet in person as needed basis.
· Performs other related duties as assigned.
· This position involves sitting at a computer for several hours at a time.
· Proficiency in the use of keyboard / mouse and video meetings.
· Ability to see and hear in virtual meetings.
· Ability to maintain a flexible schedule aligned with Central Time zone business hours, 9 am – 5 pm, to facilitate effective collaboration and communication with team members.
Salary Range: $90,000 - $100,000
