Job Summary

We are looking for a Shopify Ecommerce Associate with 1–3 years of experience to support our clients in setting up and optimizing their Shopify stores. The ideal candidate will be skilled in Shopify store setup, theme customization, product listing, and POS system configuration. This role requires a detail-oriented and proactive individual who can work closely with clients and internal teams to deliver seamless Shopify solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Shopify Store Setup & Customization

  • Assist in setting up new Shopify stores for clients, ensuring all settings, domains, and integrations are correctly configured.
  • Customize and configure Shopify themes to match client branding and business needs.
  • Install and manage Shopify apps to enhance store functionality.

Product Management & Inventory Support

  • Upload and manage product listings, including descriptions, images, pricing, and categories.
  • Set up and optimize collections, filters, and navigation for better product discoverability.
  • Manage inventory settings, SKU mapping, and stock level updates to prevent overselling.
  • Ensure product SEO best practices are implemented for better visibility.

Shopify POS Implementation & Support

  • Configure and integrate Shopify POS (Point of Sale) systems for retail businesses.
  • Train clients on using Shopify POS, managing transactions, and handling in-store sales.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Shopify POS issues related to setup, syncing, or payment processing.
  • Assist with hardware setup, such as barcode scanners, receipt printers, and card readers.

Client Support & Troubleshooting

  • Provide ongoing support to clients for Shopify store-related issues.
  • Diagnose and resolve basic Shopify technical issues, coordinating with Shopify support when needed.
  • Guide clients on best practices for managing their eCommerce store efficiently.
  • Stay updated with Shopify’s latest features and updates, advising clients on potential improvements.

Marketing & Conversion Optimization (Optional)

  • Optimize Shopify stores for conversion, improving checkout flow and user experience.
  • Assist with setting up promotions, discounts, and gift card functionalities.
  • Integrate email marketing tools and set up automated email sequences for abandoned carts and customer engagement.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience working with Shopify and Shopify POS.
  • Familiarity with Shopify store setup, theme customization, and app integrations.
  • Basic understanding of eCommerce operations, payment gateways, and order fulfilment.
  • Strong communication skills to assist clients with setup and troubleshooting.
  • Bonus: Knowledge of HTML, CSS, or Liquid (Shopify’s templating language) is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
